The pool’s concrete structure stayed. The edges, the beach entry and everything around them changed.

At Riviera de São Lourenço, the owner wanted to keep the concrete pool, but not the way it was. Western added wet edges, a beach entry, geysers and, on the other side of the house, a koi pond with a sunken lounge in the water.

On the beach entry, the pool’s edge disappears into the sand.
